Today has been vaguely troublesome. Have been feeling vaguely grouchy for no really understandable reason. Didn't help that I started the day with a dose of Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood which is my bookgroup book. It may be the most boring book in the world. (and yes, it's sci-fi. Well, that sucked. Woke up at 5:00 in the morning yesterday, feeling like I was being stabbed in the throat. Didn't get the job. I was expecting this mostly but I didn't really care on the whole except that this evening, I have got increasingly crosser and crosser. So, yesterday my sort-of cousin called and asked my Mum if she could stay the night today.
